Amy and the girls got ready at home and I was happy to find frost in their garden so, I used this for the background for a few detail shots, giving the images a great context of time and style. Her bouquet, full of stunning red roses, was the perfect choice to stand out against her bridal gown and surrounded by her bridesmaids in red, they made for a beautiful group of ladies.
Their church, grand in appearance, was a great setting for their romantic ceremony and we were blessed with wintery sunlight for most of the day. Ryan was his usual cool self taking it all in as the time approached for Amy to arrive.
Somerford provides so many opportunities for images - the long drive as the car approaches, the secluded nature of the country mansion and the ornate blue ballroom used for their wedding breakfast. Plus, the substantial grounds gave me so many options for some truly fantastic couple shots.
It was a real joy to spend this time with Amy & Ryan. They are a fun, sweet couple who on this very special day made the most of their plans and I was only too happy to document it.
