Heather & Ian's Pre-Wedding Shoot

It was a very busy week for pre-wedding shoots with this being the second one in 2 days. It was such a pleasure to spend the day with Heather & Ian (& Stella the dog) visiting a few locations around where they live in Wolverhampton.
It was a very wet start to the day but we managed to persevere and get some really nice shots in the park with a very wet Stella!! Luckily the weather got better and better as the day went on.
Ian, being in the RAF, wanted to wear his uniform in a few of the shots. He has decided not to wear it on his wedding day (much to the dismay of a lot of women no doubt), so the pre-wed was a great opportunity to show this side of him.
They are getting married at The Mount Hotel, a beautiful venue in Wolverhampton in June, so check back later for that blog!

Gemma & Steve's Pre-Wedding Shoot

Gemma & Steve were one of the first couples I booked when I relocated to Shropshire. It feels like they have been my clients forever so it was really great to finally get to spend the day photographing them for their pre-wedding shoot. We started off in their local village of Worfield, then visited Davenport House and ended up in the beautiful village of Bridgnorth.
Although the weather forecast had threatened to ruin the day, we managed to time most of the shooting in-between the showers!
As always, I try to have a bit of fun with my couples on the pre-wed without the pressure of their wedding. Throughout the day there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere, filled with lots of laughs, which hopefully is shown in the images below. Personal highlights included complimenting Steve on his height (he was over the moon), being investigated by two massive dalmatians and cheekily running into a neighbours garden for a quick pic. What we do for art!
I'm really looking forward to their wedding in the middle of June as it seems like the whole village is playing their part to make this a really special day for Gemma & Steve...

Gemma & Anthony's Wedding

Back in April I had the pleasure of photographing Gemma & Anthony's special day at Somerford Hall. When I went to visit the location the day before for my recce the weather was awful but luckily for the couple, the sun came out, with glorious blue skies for their day. As you can see from the images they were incredibly happy to finally become man and wife surrounded by their family and friends!
