Emma & Damien's Pre-Wedding Shoot

As their big day approaches on Saturday, I wanted to share the pre-wedding blog of Emma & Damien from October, who really made the most out of their pre-wed. I have really enjoyed getting to know this couple over the past few months.
We started the day, like many of my pre-weds, with a nice gentle stroll around their local park with Ollie, their beautiful Labrador, but proceeded to follow that with donning their formal attire for a trip to Trentham Gardens. Armed with balloons and other props, we explored the many different areas that Trentham has to offer. I believe the public thought we were starring in some kind of cabaret show!
I even suggested a little romantic ride on the carousel, which they were only too happy to do and made for some beautiful images...
After final decisions had been made on their album over a lovely pie, bought from Trentham, it was time for me to head back down the M6 home to start the enjoyable job of editing their images.
Hope you enjoy looking through the blog...

The Lake District

Being the lovely husband I am I recently took Kate away to the Lakes for her birthday. I have been very lucky to have the opportunity to visit the Lake District, ever since my Mum & Dad bought a timeshare there, some 20 years ago. It holds a very special place in my heart.
Using the panoramic feature of my new iPhone 5 and along with my trusty Canon Powershot S90 I took a few shots which to me, represents this beautiful county. There is no other place, in my eyes, which gives you the same feeling as when you are walking in the rain, surrounded by some of the most beautiful, untouched scenery.
Have a look at picture four that was taken a few seconds before Ellie & I were attacked by a herd of crazy sheep!!

Victoria & Marc's Pre-Wedding Shoot

In the run-up to their wedding on Saturday, I wanted to post the pre-wedding blog of Victoria & Marc. It was really special to shoot at this time of year with the autumnal colours and low sun light creating very emotive images of the couple.
We visited Highgate Common, Dudley Ruins and Himley Hall which, all gave great contrast in their personalised guest book. The guys also took advantage of bringing their beautiful siberian husky Mischa along in the morning and we managed to get some lovely shots of her in the woods.
There is no better way, in my opinion, to get to know a couple before their wedding day than on a pre-wed shoot.
I'm very much looking forward to their wedding at Rowton Castle and looking at the weather today, I hope the bride wraps up warm!!
