Kate & Ross' Pre-Wedding Shoot

It's lovely when a booking comes from a recommendation, better still when its kept in the family. It means I must be doing something right ;-)
When I was asked to photograph the wedding of my friends Tom & Nikki last year I had no idea that Tom's older sister Kate was also getting married the following year. So you can imagine that I was very proud to receive a message from the guys asking for me to be a part of their day too!
Kate and Ross are teachers, working and living in London, and although they are getting married in the bride's home village of Laughton in Lincolnshire, it was a great opportunity to travel down to the capital for their pre-wed. They wanted to spend the majority of the day in Greenwich Park, one of 8 royal parks in London and the home to the 'Queen's House', the 'Royal Observatory', the 'National Maritime Museum', and a deer park to name just a few - plenty of scope for pictures...
We stopped by the 'Old Naval College' by the river and visited the 'Painted Hall' which has appeared in many blockbuster films including 'Pirates of The Caribbean', 'The Kings Speech', and 'Les Miserables'. We also managed a quick pass through Greenwich market which was a hive of colour and activity. All in all, we had a pretty eventful day!
Watch out for their wedding in August...
