Pendrell Hall's 'Wedding Experience Event'

I had the pleasure of being asked to be the photographer for Pendrell Hall Exclusive Country House Wedding Venue Tasting Day on Saturday. As I continue to do more and more with this fantastic, local venue, I was excited to showcase a bit of what I do to capture what these kind of days are all about.
It was an absolute honour to be surrounded by such great suppliers and I kick things off with the guys at Stylishly Classic CarsThey were on hand to welcome the guests outside (& inside when we had a little rain!) by exhibiting a couple of their cars they have, in particular a Beauford Soft Top and a Jaguar XJ Sport, for all those requiring transport on their wedding day.
Next came the lovely ladies at The Flower Shop, Louise and Amanda. They created stunning table decorations in the ballroom, each one with a completely different style which, proved a great inspiration for the couples and their families. They also dressed the Morning & Drawing rooms with pedestals and vases, further showcasing their skills.
Christian Fletcher tirelessly entertained people with close up magic for two full days, introducing people to his unbelievable talents with much laughter, surprise and disbelief!
Steve at Strictly Weddings DJ had set up a little stand in which he could play a little music and talk to couples regarding their wishes for entertainment on the evening of their wedding. He also had a display showing some super sized, illuminated letters that couples can hire which is something very 'in' at the moment and look great behind a bride and groom during their first dance.
The only supplier that I knew before the day was Francesca at Cheshire Cat Cake Company. I've exhibited with her at a few fayres so I already knew that her cake skills were in high demand. The selection of samples she had on display were varied and detailed, as well as providing the personalised, chocolate lollipop favours for each and every person sat down at the tables. Again, something that will be popular in 2015 is her new 'naked' cakes as she already has 16 orders this year!
Music Makers UKan agency who look after lots and lots of Musicians up and down the country, provided one of their harpists to serenade the guests as they arrived. They set up initially in the beautiful bay window of the 'Morning room' and then moved to the ballroom where they could continue to play.  I'm in awe of anyone who has the skill to play an instrument and the harp sounded beautiful in the grand open spaces of Pendrell.
Hard working behind the scenes and in-front, the dedicated team of Jenkinsons Ensarb Estates - Exclusive Catering provided the main event of the day- the food! The professional service and quality of food they produced brought a lot of smiles to the faces of couples and their families. On a personal note, I want to thank them for looking after me so well when I shoot weddings there!

Finally, it was really cool to get the chance to talk to lots of couples about their weddings and what we do different at ATD to create really natural, fun, emotive images.

Thank you to Ben & Sarah (and the girls) and Jon and the team (Francesca, Lisa, Lyndsey, Jane & Kate) for welcoming me so well, yet again.
