Next up is Gill & James' pre-wed. We returned to one of my favourite locations - Lilleshall Abbey which, as you can see, just makes for the most beautiful of backdrops. We finished the day in a small woodland close by.
They are a lovely, down to earth couple who were a pleasure to spend the day with (and not to mention a swift drink with) and the wedding day they have planned is going to be relaxed and elegant, superbly summed up by their invitation's "Eat, drink and be married". Simple as!
I'm really looking forward to seeing them again when I photograph their wedding at the Madeley Court Hotel in August, a location which, although being on my doorstep, I have never had the pleasure of shooting at yet.

Heather & Adam's Wedding
Next comes Heather & Adam's wedding in July. They were married at St John's Church in Lawley Village and continued their celebrations at the always fantastic Hundred House Hotel in Norton.
As Adam is in the forces and stationed away from Heather, their wedding was always going to have that extra something special and it was a privilege to capture that emotion on camera.
In the past, a few couples have mentioned a want to go into Ironbridge on their wedding day but due to time constraints we have never managed it. However, Heather planned an early ceremony just for this reason and enabled us to travel into the historical town and achieve lots of beautiful, meaningful couple shots. Also being a major tourist spot, we met our fair share with cameras who made us feel famous for the day.
The good weather continued for the rest of the day which allowed them to do their first dance outside in the Hundred House gardens. A lovely end to a wonderful day...
