Liz & Simon's Pre-Wedding Shoot

I spent the day with Liz & Simon for their pre-wedding shoot at the beginning of July. They were a really fun couple who were a real pleasure to photograph!
We started the day at 'Bramall Hall', a tudor manor house in Stockport and moved onto the magnificent panoramic views at 'Alderley Edge' in Cheshire. As Liz & Simon booked a meeting with their wedding venue, 'The Ashes' in Staffordshire, after the shoot, we used this opportunity to recce a few possible backdrops for their wedding. We also managed to grab a few shots in the beautiful wheat fields set in the grounds of the venue before their meeting.
I have been on the venue's preferred suppliers list for a few months now and am really looking forward to the Liz & Simon's wedding there, hopefully, the first of many!
Without giving too much away, their wedding is definitely going to be one to look out for!!

Gemma & Steve's Wedding

Continuing with the update of my blog, I have the pleasure to showcase the wedding of Gemma & Steve. While the country continued their celebrations after the diamond jubilee, two lovely people were married at Worfield Church in Shropshire. 
They were such a joy to photograph and embraced each aspect of the day which, you can clearly see in their more intimate, romantic images.  
Their reception was all meticulously planned and by holding it at their local village hall they managed to create something very personal. It felt like half the village contributed towards their special day and I was made to feel very welcome by the couples' family and friends.
Special mention has to go to the brides brother, Josh, for rescuing the veil after it blew off Gemma's head on the way into the church! It certainly made the vicar laugh!
Gemma & Steve become one of my couples in February 2011 and ever since our first meeting I have looked forward to photographing their wedding...
