Anita & John's Wedding

The first wedding of the busy summer season took place between Anita & John, a fantastic couple who planned a very special day! They got married in a beautiful, rural church in Worcester and had their reception at the ‘The Cotford Hotel’. Personal highlights from the day was Anita wowing her guests with a song dedicated to her new husband and John’s charming poem he wrote for his groom’s speech. As with all of my couples I have become very close with Anita & John and I’m happy to say they were over the moon with their pictures...

Nicola & Simon's Pre-Wedding Shoot

With the pre-wedding shoots coming thick and fast in preparation for a busy summer ahead, I next had the pleasure of photographing Nicola & Simon. They were a couple who were a bit apprehensive about having their picture taken, to the extent that when I visited their home for a consultation, I noticed that they didn't have a single photograph of themselves. This then became my mission to take a photo that they both loved of themselves to maybe take pride of place on their wall!! From the feedback I’ve had from them, so far so good...

Kristen & Matt's Pre-Wedding Shoot

So when my sister asked me to play some part in photographing her wedding in September I was naturally very honoured! I have alway been very  close to Kristen & having this opportunity to give her & her fiance some very special images of their day was something I simply couldn't turn down. 

So... when Kristen & Matt were back for a week of ‘manic’ wedding planning last month we set aside a day to do their pre-wedding shoot. They have lived & worked in Ohio for a fair few years now and the style and look of their images was very important to them. Both Kristen & Matt are very talented fashion designers for ‘Abercrombie & Fitch’ so I knew the pressure was on!! They wanted a very vintage, british theme for their guest book so we decided to visit two very contrasting locations. One was the beautiful, historic city of Lincoln and the other was more rural in the countryside near our childhood home in Lincolnshire. The shoot turned out to be something very special...
